Costa Rican, singer-songwriter Pino was a recipient of Premios lo Nuestro Costa Rica 2018 as songwriter of the year and winner of the International Songwriters Festival2015(Costa Rica). His work has been featured in International Festivals such as UCA Acoustic Festival Songwriters Competition, on 2005 (United States), World Fest Arkansas 2002 (United States), FICA 2016 (Costa Rica) and Festival Tesituras 2016 (Medellin Colombia 2016). He has also performed in countries like Brasil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Barbados and PuertoRico.
Pino´s music has been described as fine pieces of musical craftsmanship and over the years he has garnered reputation as a skilled performer, guitarist and vocalist. His has been often compared to some of his main influences such as James Taylor, Tracy Chapman, Silvio Rodriguez, Caetano Veloso and Juan Carlos Baglietto.
